Bryan Robson to become next Thai coach
Former England captain Bryan Robson has agreed to become the next coach of the Thailand national football team. Robson suceeds former Leeds boss Peter Reid, who left the job after one year to join Tony Pulis at Stoke City. The Thai football association have given Robson a four year contract- the same that they offered Reid.Reid,Euro 2012 Football Shirts, who lost just two of his thirteen games with Thailand,Fulham Shirt, had wanted to continue as coach of the Changsuk on a part time basis,Uruguay Shirt, but the idea was shot down by Thai FA bosses.Thailand have not qualified for next years showpiece in South Africa, and Robsons immediate task will be help the squad qualify for the 2011 Asia Cup. They are currently third in Group E behind Iran and Singapore with two points from as many games.
