Benzema crowned French Player of the Year

Lyon striker Karim Benzema has been voted France's Player ofthe Year by his fellow professionals,Ukraine Euro 2012 Shirts, and accepted the trophy fromformer winner Zinedine Zidane.The 20-year-old French international has played 35 league gamesfor the reigning champions this year with one match remaining nextweekend to decide the title between Lyon and Bordeaux and fourgames in the UEFA Champions League. He has scored a total of 23goals total from both competitions and will be one of the keyplayers for his country at next month's UEFA EURO 2008Championships in Austria and Switzerland."I never dreamt I would win this trophy,Italy Euro 2012 Shirt, but I amabsolutely delighted," he said.
